The head of state stated that in September 2023, the iron fist of the Azerbaijani soldier spoke again: “In less than a day, the occupying army of Armenia in Karabakh was crushed, and the leaders of the separatists, child murderers, were brought to Azerbaijani court. Those who threatened us by coming in tanks to occupy Baku are today drinking Azerbaijani tea in Azerbaijani prisons, and their tanks are displayed in the Military Trophies Park. This issue is of global importance, which is why I dwelled on it. If sanctions had been imposed on Armenia in a timely manner for occupation, genocide, and ethnic cleansing, Azerbaijan would not have been forced to break the back of Armenian fascism on the battlefield. The war was not our choice, Armenia forced us into war.”
